Here's my story.

Our family came to Walt Disney World to celebrate an anniversary, a birthday, and our granddaughter's first birthday and trip to Disney. We are DVC members, so the entire family was down.

My daughter and I were shopping at Once Upon A Toy, picking out Madison's birthday crown for her big day. Vanessa came to us and started talking and helping us with the design. She said “Wait a minute” and took off; she returned with a special card commemorating her 1st birthday.

At that point, she saw my daughter with her little boy of 2 (who just celebrated his birthday in July). Vanessa couldn't let his day go unnoticed; so she went and brought back a card for him. Low and behold, my oldest grandson happened to arrive and look at the crown we were making for his sister. Well you guessed it; Vanessa surprised him with a birthday card as well.

She was so thoughtful and considerate of the feelings of the older children and made them feel so special too. She also was very kind to my daughter and helped her arrange the My Little Pony pieces she was choosing for Madison's gift.

Vanessa was friendly, helpful, and kind to all the members of my family that were shopping that day at Once Upon A Toy. I just had to thank her kindnesses with the presentation of WWWD pin. She truly demonstrated the "spirit of Disney" we expect to find when we come to Disney World.
