This nomination is sooooo overdue that I'm almost embarrassed to submit it now! Over three years ago on a visit to Disneyland, my then 5 year old daughter insisted on wearing her Halloween costume (Cinderella Dress) to the park. While waiting in line for Dumbo, Pat, a Fantasyland Lead (Supervisor) noticed my daughter and approached her. Pat spoke directly to her and exclaimed, "Princess, what are you doing in line! Princesses don't wait in line if I have anything to say about it!"

She took my daughter by the hand and lead her (and us) to the exit of the Dumbo ride and told the cast member operating the ride that a Disney Princess was visiting and was to be put on the very next flight. Needless to say my daughter was overwhelmed and was beaming! Sure enough we were on the next flight and Pat even waited for us to finish the flight and then escorted my daughter off the ride and asked her what ride she wanted to go on next.

We hadn't been on Peter Pan's Flight yet as the line was over 45 minutes long. My daughter sheepishly said "My little brother really wants to go on Peter Pan". Next thing we knew we were being whisked into the exit and put on the very next pirate ships to Neverland! Pat made this visit to the Magic Kingdom the most special ever for my daughter.

Since then we have visited Disneyland many more times and my daughter (now 8) and son (now 6) always ask if we are going to see Pat today. We always look and more often than not it seems, we find her scurrying from one attraction to the next wherever her magical services are needed most. She always has a big smile and a hug for my children. She has a heart of gold and is a true asset to the Happiest Place on Earth!

We finally awarded her with a WWWD pin yesterday. Much to my surprise, she had never received one before! I was amazed! So we rectified the situation and honored her in our own humble way. We love you Pat! Keep the magic alive!!!
