Went to La Chappeau to get my pirate hat personalized with stitching and walked into a zoo. The line was long and ugly. One mother was slapping her kids for crying. Two women in line each had 8+ hats they wanted names on. A father was yelling at his two boys. It was simply awful. I was 12th back and it was slow moving. Through all of this the woman working on the sewing machine on the left as you enter the store was smiling and stitching like a maniac. When I got to the head of the line she motioned me over. I handed her my hat and offered the receipt to prove that I bought it today. She just smiled and said, "It's okay. Anyone offering to show me the receipt is pretty honest." As she worked on sewing "Capt. Jim" on the front of my hat I asked if I could buy two sets of ears and have them stitched as well. She said "absolutely" and grabbed two. Within three minutes she stitched the caps and rang me up. She never wasted a moment and was Uber Friendly the whole time. I told her as much and she said it was all part of the job. Amazing woman and a phenomenal employee. Her supervisor darn sure better realize it.
