We often go to the garden grill for a character dinner when we are in Disney World. We find it less crowded and the food is always great. Mickey, Pluto, Chip and dale are my son's favorites. Since it is so small the characters make it around to the table many times. The past two trips OCT 2002 and this one we had the same server, Brenda.

She always has a big smile and a great big hello for us when we arrive. This time we did not even think about who was serving us but she did. When she returned with our drinks she announced to my 3 year old son that she saw us a few months earlier and remembered that he liked worms and dirt. This was the dessert for kids after the meal. She also remembered that he loved the salad and would hurry and get him some.

My husband and I were floored that she would remember this after all the people that she sees. When she would be at the table and the characters coming into the area she would say to Matt "Look who's coming. Here is Mickey." That just got Matt all excited. She even told us how to tell Chip and Dale apart.

My son still has not forgotten how to tell them apart when he sees them on TV. By being just that extra bit special to Matt she really made the trip. He still talks about that dinner and Brenda. He especially loved to give her the pin. He said that she made him happy so he would make her happy too. We are returning in October and hope to see her again.
