Pink Ribbon Cruises raises money for breast cancer awareness and research through fundraising cruises. We are doing our first "group" cruise aboard the Disney Magic in September 2003, and I've spent nearly 18 months on the planning of it. In July, the group was finally deemed "complete" and turned over to a group coordinator for final handling.

I didn't realize until recently how lucky we were that Amy was our designated coordinator. So far, she's helped get an onboard vow renewal set up (when they were already at their limit on them for this cruise), gotten all 26 adults pre-confirmed for brunch, adjusted the rates of three cabins when they fell below our contracted rates, and gotten nearly every cabin a two-category upgrade.

And that's just the big stuff. There have been numerous small requests that she handles quickly, professionally, and with a smile. I have no doubt that there will be a few more requests made of Amy before we actually sail, and that she'll handle each and every one just as well.

Amy handles MANY groups, but she always makes me feel like mine is the only one that matters. I am very pleased to present Amy with the What Would Walt Do pin. She is just the sort of person it was meant for, and Walt would be very proud of her.
